2024, canvas, acrylic, author's technique "The painting "Blue Blossom" or "Blue Blossom" is made in my author's technique.
"I was inspired to create the painting by the Tenmoku Heavenly Bowls. There are only 3 of them. Each of them has a diameter of only 12 centimeters, but inside there is a galaxy shining with stars. Iridescent patterns and spots of lapis lazuli were created during the firing of the bowls in kilns. The method of their creation remains unknown, but it is believed that they are impossible to reproduce. The only three existing Yohen Tenmoku tea bowls in Japan, centuries old. The pattern inside the bowls resembles the pattern of the polar lights, shimmering on the black surface and creating a mysterious effect. I tried to create the same effect in my painting. From a distance, it seems to you that it is a uniform blue color, but upon closer inspection, you see many shades. In each petal there is a small galaxy, and the varnish gives the painting the effect of glazing . Among the many blue paints I have used, the main one was Klein blue. In 1960, Klein patented a composition he invented under the name International Klein Blue. It is an ultramarine that retains its color characteristics completely when mixed with synthetic resin."
An Azerbaijani artist who has developed her own unique technique: she mixes oil paints, acrylics, gypsum, sea sand from the Caspian coast, natural materials and much more for her works.
In 2014, Gama Malikova created her own brand called Gamel, in 2016 she created an exclusive collection of artworks for the interior and in 2021, the Gamel Home textile line.
